The Conway Parks Youth Fishing Derby is taking place this Saturday at a local Conway parks facility.
Open to kids aged 15 and under, this FREE event is designed to get kids outside and enjoying nature.
Participants must bring their own fishing rod, bait, bucket, and a chair, and prizes are awarded for top catches.
This wonderful community tradition helps young anglers learn foundational fishing skills, understand conservation, and experience the best of our local parks and recreation system.
Grab your gear, bring the family down for a fun morning by the water, and help encourage the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts and anglers.

The new Braum’s construction is well underway at the site on Farris Road and Prince Street (right near Don Pepe’s and Shadrachs) for Central Arkansas’s very first Braum’s location.
Ever since they officially broke ground, progress has been a massive point of conversation around town for anyone driving down that stretch of road.
It’s a huge addition for local burger and ice cream fans who have been waiting for the chain to make its way over to Conway from Northwest Arkansas.
While construction continues, the offical opening date has not yet been scheduled, but it’s expected to be early 2027!

👨👩👧👦 Community Bingo Night: United Way of Central Arkansas
Mark your calendar for a fun evening with a great cause, happening this coming Monday at The Rogue Roundabout.
A special Community Bingo Night is being hosted to raise vital funds and drive local awareness for community support programs run by the United Way of Central Arkansas.
