Hey, Conway Neighbors 👋
Roundabout Conway is back after a short break from the heat, only to return to - you guessed it - more heat!
And a burn ban! (More about that shortly!)
Let’s dive in and see whats happening in our city this week!
↓
Burn Ban & Late-Summer Heat
It’s no secret that Central Arkansas is feeling the sizzle this week (ahem - again! 🙄).
A regional Heat Advisory is in effect across Conway and Faulkner County, pushing heat index values up to a blistering 109°F, prompting another county-wide Burn Ban.
While we wait for Mother Nature to hit the “cool down” button, keep these quick tips in mind:
Hydrate often: Drink plenty of water before you step outside.
Protect the paws: Asphalt heats up fast—if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for your pup!
Hold the flames: Keep campfires, brush burns, and outdoor open flames on hold until the ban lifts.
Stay safe, check in on your neighbors, and take advantage of Conway’s air-conditioned local spots this weekend!

Community News: Conway Corp Lights Up the Navajo Nation
Several local lineworkers recently took their expertise more than 1,000 miles west to take part in the Light Up Navajo initiative.
Across the Navajo Nation, approximately 15,000 families still live without access to electricity.
Working in rugged desert terrain the Conway Corp team helped erect power poles, string miles of overhead lines, and connect families to the grid for the very first time.
For residents who have lived for decades without power, the hookups bring life-changing essentials.
We are proud of our local lineworkers for representing Conway, and using their skills to bring light and comfort to families in need.
