💦 Conway Enters Phase 3 Water Curtailment
Conway Corp officially shifted into Phase 3 of its Emergency Water Curtailment Plan following prolonged dry conditions that have kept Brewer Lake levels below normal.
The restrictions mean tighter rules, including limiting residential lawn watering to one day a week and a strict ban on filling empty pools.
Local industrial facilities across Conway have stepped up over the past few months, with some voluntarily slashing their water usage by 30% to ease pressure on the municipal system.
City leadership and Conway Corp expressed gratitude to residents and industrial partners with CEO Bret Carrol stating:
“Moving to Phase 3 means we need our community to reduce water use even further. Every gallon saved helps protect our water supply, and we are asking everyone to continue working together and be intentional about how they use water.”

🟣 Local Favorite Purple Cow Closes It’s Doors
In a recent shift for Conway’s local dining footprint, The Purple Cow officially announced the permanent closure of its restaurant at The Village at Hendrix.
The announcement comes on the back of rising maintenance and operational costs, and Sunday, August 16, was the last day of operation for the neighborhood eatery.
Known for its iconic purple aesthetic, classic diner fare, and signature milkshakes, the Hendrix Village staple served families and students for over a decade and will be missed by locals, vistors and students.

🟥 UCA Rolls Out the Red Carpet for Conway Daze
Incoming students packed the University of Central Arkansas Thomas C. Courtway Student Recreation Center for the annual Conway Daze welcome event.
The energetic campus tradition gave new students a chance to connect face-to-face with local businesses, campus vendors, and community organizations, celebrating the partnership between UCA and the greater Conway area.
This year’s event saw over 200 local businesses, campus departments, and registered student organizations on campus to help UCA students get involved and connected.
