🎭 Robin Hood Takes the Stage
Looking for a fantastic way to spend a summer evening with the family?
The UCA Summer Theatre is officially kicking off its third annual season this Friday night, June 19th, with a spectacular run of Ken Ludwig’s Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood!
This isn’t your typically stuffy, traditional period piece.
Written by Tony Award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig, Sherwood is a fast-paced, high-energy, and hilarious reimagining of the classic legend.
Packed with physical comedy, live archery, intricate swordplay, and sharp wit, the story follows the famous outlaw and Maid Marian as they challenge corruption and defend the powerless.
The production brings together talented professional artists alongside UCA Theatre students to deliver elite artistry right to Conway.
Performance Schedule:
Evening Shows (7:00 PM): June 19, 25, and 26
Matinee Shows (2:00 PM): June 20, 21, 27, and 28
All performances are hosted at the state-of-the-art Windgate Center for Fine and Performing Arts right on campus.

With Father’s Day landing this Sunday, June 21st, local Conway families are prepping to hit the outdoors.
If you’re looking for a peaceful way to spend the morning with Dad without driving out of county lines, Beaverfork Lake is the place to be.
The weather is lining up perfectly for early morning fishing or unloading the kayaks at the boat launch.
Take Dad to hook a bass or just spend an uninterrupted couple of hours floating on the water, on this 960-acre lake.
Just make sure to load up the cooler with plenty of ice and sunscreen before you head out!

Find them at 1012 E Oak St. for a massive Grand Opening celebration this Saturday, June 20th, running all day long from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
To mark the occasion, they are giving out FREE car washes all day long to anyone who stops by.
Beyond leaving with a sparkling clean ride, you can check out local food and vendors on-site from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

🐶 Pet of the Week - Duck!
Duck is an amazing guy with a playful heart and a whole lot of love to give!
He has quickly become a favorite in play group and absolutely loves spending time with the other CAS dogs.
Duck’s only caution so far is that he can be protective of his food; this simply means he should be fed separately and given space while eating.
With a little understanding and a lot of love, Duck is going to make someone an incredible companion.
