🍗 Roost & Tap Kitchen: The Heat is On!
The wait is almost over! Roost & Tap Kitchen is celebrating its official grand opening this Saturday, March 7, from 11 a.m at 1050 Ellis Avenue.
The Opening Prize: They are “bringing the heat” for their debut. The first 20 tables on opening day will receive free chicken for a year, featuring their signature rotisserie and fried chicken.
The Concept: Owned by local restaurateur Charles Frost, Jr., the kitchen focuses on elevated southern comfort food. Think slow-roasted rotisserie, house-brined fried chicken, and truffle tater tots.
The Tap: True to its name, you’ll find a curated selection of craft beers and beverages designed to pair perfectly with their savory menu.

🍻 Hendrix Village Entertainment District
Just in time for the Roost & Tap opening, the Village at Hendrix Entertainment District is officially a go as of late last year!
How it Works: Adult patrons (21+) can now carry alcoholic beverages within the designated green space and commercial district if purchased from participating spots like La Pista Pizzeria or Roost & Tap.
The Goal: This new designation aims to enhance Conway’s appeal for residents and visitors, creating a walkable, vibrant space for the community to gather and enjoy the spring weather.
So grab a beer and come and mix and mingle with other Conway locals!
🍔 Where to Find The Best Burger in Conway
Looking for something beyond the standard drive-thru?
Here’s a few local spots where you can get your burger fix:
The Local Favorite: Stoby’s Restaurant isn’t just for cheese dip (though we love it). Try the Petit Jean Peppered Bacon Burger that comes with a portion of fries for a tasty dinnertime treat.
The “Old School”: David’s Burgers remains a staple for a reason. If you haven’t been lately, the single or double meat burger combos made from fresh, hand cut beef are filling and delicious.
The Honorable Mention: Kotaro Hibachi probably isn’t the first place that comes to mind for a burger, but if you haven’t tried their Ultimate Burger topped with avocado, fried egg, grilled mushroom and onion, you’re missing a treat. 🏷️ Treasure Hunting: Sales & Finds
Worth the drive: While it’s a bit further down I-40, Vintage Market Days of Little Rock is happening this weekend (March 6-8) at the State Fairgrounds. It’s the region’s biggest hub for vintage furniture, clothing, and garden finds.
Rhea Lana’s is still on until Saturday at the Conway Expo Center, find a bargain or grab a treat!
Shade Tree Flea Market if you haven’t stopped by here yet you’re missing out on a ton of bargains. Clothes, jewelry, collectibles, and anything else you can think of!
Angels Landing Flea Market in Greenbrier is packed with vintage art, locally made products, and antiques.
