Spring is officially here, and Conway is blooming right along with it.
The days are getting longer, the patios are calling, and there is a lot going on in our corner of the Natural State right now.
Pour something cold and let’s get into it. ⬇️
🍕 Conway’s New Pizza Restaurant Is Almost Here
If you’re a pizza lover then you are in for a treat.
Rotolo’s Craft & Crust is set to open in Conway in late April or early May, and it’s bringing Detroit-style pizza (a rectangular, thick crust pizza) to the city.
The Louisiana-based restaurant is known for its elevated take on casual dining.
The menu features deep-dish pizzas, traditional stone-baked pies, pasta, wings, burgers, fresh salads and more.
Rotolo’s also offers a variety of craft cocktails, a curated wine list, and a selection of draft and local brews.
Just in time for the better weather, the new location at Prince St, will feature an outdoor patio for al fresco dining and casual eats.
Keep your eyes on their socials, there may be special opening deals or promotions.

🏗️ Build My Future Returns to Conway Expo Center
Conway is about to play host to one of the most hands-on career events in the state.
Build My Future is back for its third year at Conway Expo Center this April.
It is an immersive construction career showcase hosted by Associated Builders and Contractors of Arkansas.
Students will work with contractors and suppliers, use power tools, VR simulators, and have the chance to operate heavy equipment in a safe, real-world environment.
Construction jobs across Arkansas are in high demand, and this event is an opportunity for young people to explore careers that are growing fast and pay well.

A one day expo-style event for women-owned businesses, women-led businesses and young entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services and expand their networks with women in Central Arkansas.

The University of Central Arkansas held its 12th annual Day of Giving, receiving over $1.2M from 3,115 donors during the 24-hour campaign. Nice!

The Conway City Council voted 6-0 to approve an ordinance to close a portion of Bruce Street between Farris Street and Western Avenue.
🏀 Wampus Cats Are Rolling!
The Conway Wampus Cats had a 51-40 win over Springdale (their first state tournament win since 2020), and the Lady Cats are killing it with two wins!

✅ Pothole Watch: The freeze-thaw cycle left some fresh craters around Dave Ward and Donaghey. Keep your eyes open and report hazards to the city.
✅ Trail Conditions: Cooler mornings and sunshine by afternoon make this a fantastic week to get out for a walk or a bike ride on the Conway trails.
