🛴 Conway’s E-Scooter Ordinance Passes
The Conway City Council recently met and officially paved the way for a more high-tech commute.
The council approved an ordinance which adds a new chapter to the Municipal Code specifically for the safe operation of motorized E-scooters and shared-mobility programs within the city.
What this means for you:
New Ways to Move: Expect to see shared-mobility stations appearing as the city begins implementing the program.
Infrastructure Support: The city also appropriated over $1.1 million for the Connect Conway project, ensuring our trails and paths are ready for increased use.
Safety First: The new code outlines specific operational rules to keep both riders and pedestrians safe on our sidewalks and streets.

The Simon and Garfunkel Story arrives on Friday, February 20.
The Experience: This immersive, concert-style theater show uses huge projection photos and original film footage to tell the story of the legendary folk-rock duo.

🏀 Game On: Basketball Fever Hits Conway
It is a massive weekend for local sports fans as both Hendrix College and UCA host significant matchups.
SCAC Championships: The SCAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships are taking over the Hendrix College Wellness and Athletics Center starting Friday, Feb 27, but the lead-up games are happening now!
Catch the Hendrix Women vs. Austin College on Friday, Feb 20 at 8:00 PM.
UCA Pickleball Clash: For those who prefer a paddle to a hoop, the Student & Alumni Pickleball Tournament kicks off at the UCA Student Recreation Center this Saturday, Feb 21, from 9 AM to 3 PM.
